Scarred Void

Scarred Void 2026 · 60 × 60 × 3 cm XPS, stucco, pigments, pozzolana, resin Scarred Void is a sculptural relief built around a dark central void from which layered, radial forms emerge like traces of a surface marked by intense transformation. The rough textures of XPS, stucco and pozzolana are worked into deep grooves and raised contours, then sealed with resin to intensify the depth and density of the black surface. The work explores the tension between organic growth, erosion and the memory held within matter.
